H.E. Khaled Ahmad Zekriya, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Rome - Italy, had an insightful meeting today with H.E. Piero Fassino, President of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament. The two discussed humanitarian assistance, protection of Afghanistan’s last two decades' democratic achievements – including human rights, women, girls' and minorities’ rights – and the possible alternatives to the recognition of the Taliban’s so called "interim government".
