Ambassador of Afghanistan Participated in the 42nd Session of FAO
Shirshah Amiri, deputy minister of agriculture and livestock of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL), H.E. Khalid Ahmad Zekriya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to Rome, and Rahman Nazar Belim, Alternate Representative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Rome Based Agencies, attended and delivered speech on behalf of Afghanistan at the 42nd Session of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
In this session, which was held virtually through the Zoom platform from 14 to 18 June 2021, deputy minister stated Afghanistan's priorities in agriculture, irrigation, food security and livestock, and H.E. Ambassador and Mr. Belim spoke about food security and the state of forests, on behalf of the countries of the Near East, including Afghanistan.
